1. Who Is Responsible and How to Reach Us
The database owner is Way To Israel, the operator of the site. For any privacy question or request: info@waytoisrael.com, phone +972-53-221-3148, or through the Contact page.
2. What We Collect
Details you submit in forms: name, phone, email, the content of your inquiry, the project you asked about, and whether you agreed to receive marketing messages. Providing these details is voluntary, but without a name and phone number we cannot get back to you.
Account details, if you register: name, email, password (stored hashed only) and the content you choose to save, such as favorites, comparison list and mortgage scenarios, including the financial figures you enter in them.
Information collected automatically while browsing: pages viewed, IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and an anonymous visitor identifier stored in a cookie for 12 months. This visit log is kept in our system for security and statistics and is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Aggregated usage statistics through Google Analytics, which uses its own cookies. This information does not identify you by name.
3. Why We Use It
To answer your inquiry, arrange a call or meeting and guide you through the purchase process.
To pass your inquiry to the developer of the project you asked about, where this is needed to continue handling it.
To operate and secure the site, prevent abuse and improve the service.
To send you updates and marketing messages, only if you ticked the consent box in the form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell personal data. Information is passed only to these recipients and only as needed: the developer of the project you inquired about; service providers that process data on our behalf, such as server and database hosting, image storage, analytics, and the instant-messaging tool through which the team is notified of a new inquiry; and authorities, where the law requires it.
Some service providers operate outside Israel. Transfers are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations and subject to the providers’ commitments to protect the data.
5. How Long We Keep It
Inquiries are kept for as long as they are needed for handling, follow-up and guidance, and are deleted at your request. A user account and its content are kept until you delete the account. The visit log is deleted automatically after 90 days. Security logs and records of staff access to data are kept for a limited period for audit purposes.
6. Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted, passwords are stored hashed only, and access to personal data is limited to authorized staff according to their role and is logged. We act in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. In the event of a serious security incident we will act as required by law, including reporting to the Privacy Protection Authority.
7. Cookies
The site uses cookies needed for sign-in and preferences, an anonymous visitor-identifier cookie (12 months) for statistics and security, and Google Analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working, but some preferences may not be saved.
8. Your Rights
You may review the information held about you, ask to correct or delete it, and object to its use for direct marketing. Account holders can delete their account themselves from the user menu; deletion of inquiries and other information is done on request to info@waytoisrael.com. We answer every request within 30 days.
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting us or through the opt-out option in every message. You may also contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
