HaNachal Residences – a new private community on the edge of the Nahal Tzofim Reserve in Jerusalem, by Meir Cohen Group.

The project (Shmurat HaNachal) is being built on Ankawa Street, at the end of a dead-end road with a private access road for residents only, bordering the Nahal Tzofim Reserve – some 600 dunams (148 acres) of hills, walking and cycling trails and greenery. Ramat Eshkol, Sanhedria Murchevet and Arzei HaBira are minutes away on foot, a light-rail station is under construction nearby, and the city entrance and Highway 1 are a short drive.

What the project includes:

• 6 buildings of ground floor plus 10 residential floors, 222 apartments in total, above 3 shared underground parking levels

• 2–5 bedroom apartments (3–6 rooms) of 80–130 sqm, duplexes on floors 9–10 with roof terraces, and the option to combine units for double the space

• An oversized sun balcony and sukkah porch in every apartment, plus parking and storage

• Specification: underfloor heating, VRF air conditioning, smart-home system, custom kitchens with quartz countertops, a safe room (mamad), 2 elevators per building (one with Shabbat mode), EV-charging infrastructure

• Community: a private shul (about 300 seats) and a second minyan room, a simcha hall for about 250 guests, a men's mikvah, kindergartens on the ground floors, residents' lounges and fitness centers

• About 11 dunams of gardens and HaNachal Park with playgrounds, sports fields and bike paths linking to the Jerusalem Ring cycle route

• A neighborhood shopping promenade ("Sderot HaNachal") – café, grocery, pharmacy and more (tentative, subject to change)

• Private access road with no through traffic; the neighborhood is closed to cars on Shabbat
